He first started his career as a theatre actor and joined one of the theatre groups in Delhi.
Abhishek got the chance first chance to make his appearance in the Bollywood industry through “Rang De Basanti” movie in the year 2006.
In this movie, he plays the role of a student giving audition for a documentary role.
In the year 2010, Banerjee worked as a casting director for the movie ‘Knock Out’ and in the same year, he got the chance to act in ‘Soul of Sand’ film.
