Neeraj Madhav Biography
- Born on 26th March 1990, Neeraj Madhav is an Indian film actor and dancer, who mostly work in Malayalam films. He is popular for his TV web series ‘The Family Man’ where he played the role of Moosa Rehman.
- From October 2019, his TV web series started streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
- Neeraj first entered the industry to become a writer-director, but with the passage of time, he not only proved his acting but also dancing skills through his movies.
- He coagulated his place in the industry with some of his commercial hits like Drishyam, Buddy and Oru Vadakkan Selfie.
Family & Personal life
- Neeraj is the native of Thiruvannur, Calicut and was born into a South-Indian family.
- His father Dr K. Madhavan is a veterinarian and mother Latha is a teacher at Ramakrishna mission HSS Kozhikode.
- Neeraj’s younger brother Navneeth has also turned from a dancer to an actor in the family.
- On 2nd April 2018, Madhav got married to her long-time girlfriend Deepthi who is also the resident of Kozhikode.
- His wife Deepthi is working in Tata Consultancy Services as an engineer in Kochi.

Education & qualification
- Neeraj has done his schooling from St. Joseph’s Boys Higher Secondary School, Calicut.
- After completing his schooling, he did his graduation from Visual Communication from SRM University in Chennai.
- Later Madhav also pursued post-graduation in Theatre from School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur, Kerala.

Career
- Neeraj started his career as a dancer and participated in the first edition of the reality television programme “Super Dancer” on Amrita TV and was there till the final round.
- He is a trained Bharata Natyam dancer. Neeraj took the classes of Bharata Natyam under a great choreographer Kalamamandalam Saraswathy and her daughter Awasthy.
- Madhav is also trained in Chenda and is a discipline of Kalanilayam Udayan Namboodiri.
- This amazing actor first made his entry into the Malayalam Cinema Industry with the film ‘Buddy’ which was directed by Raaj Prabhavathy Menon in the year 2013.
- Neeraj was noticed by the director Jeethu Joseph who invited him and gave a golden chance to be the part of movies ‘Memories’ and ‘Drishyam’. Surprisingly, both the movies turned out to be the massive box office hits.
- Later, he got popular for his roles in Abrid Shine, 1983 as well as Oru Indian Pranayakadha of Sathyan Anthikad.
- He also played the role of lead characters along with Prithviraj in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha film directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. This film was the story of seven thieves.
- Neeraj gave a noted and excellent performance in Homely Meals and Apothecary film which was directed by Anoop Kannan and Madhav Ramadasan respectively.
- In the year 2015, Madhav debuted as a choreographer through Oru Vadakkan Selfie for the fun song Enne Thallendammava. This song was scripted by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
- In the same year, he also appeared in some other popular releases such as Adi Kapyare Kootamani, Jamna Pyari, KL.10, Kunjiramayanam, Charlie and Madhura Naranga.
- Neeraj was seen in a full-length role in the movie Oozham, while he played an incredibly pivotal role in Oru Mexican Aparatha movie which made him more popular in the film industry.
- In the year 2017, in the movie Lavakusha Madhav debuted as a screenplay writer and along with Aju Varghese played the role of title characters in this.
- For the very first time, Neeraj played the lead role in the movie Pipin Chuvattile Pranayam which was directed by Domin D’Silva who is a great debutant. In this movie, he played the role of daily wage labourer.
- In the year 2018, Neeraj played the lead role in Malayalam film in Rosapoo along with Basil Joseph. This movie tells how there was a boom in porn movie market from the 2000-2010 time period.
- In the year 2019, Madhav was seen in the web series known as The Family Man where he played the role of Moosa Rehman. This is Neeraj’s action-drama series by Amazon Prime Video which got great love & support from the viewers.
- For his incredible acting & work, he has been awarded a number of awards like Asiavision Awards 2015 for New Sensation in Acting (male) for performance in different movies.
